Vintage 1970’s Ventura 12 String Acoustic Guitar - $300

This is a vintage 1970’s Ventura V-16 12 string acoustic guitar. This beauty was made in Japan and features a 16 inch “super jumbo” body with a solid spruce top and beautiful mahogany back and sides. This particular guitar has a gorgeous book matched back and a super clean top. The inlays are real mother of pearl and the rosette and back strip feature real abalone.
For its age, this guitar is in wonderful condition. The neck is straight and the truss rod is fully functional. The guitar has been stored in the case detuned to take pressure off the bridge which has kept it fully intact and attached to the body. (This is important because 12 string guitars often experience loose or pulled up bridges if they are stored under full tension.) This guitar will also come with a very nice hardshell case.
This is a wonderful sounding and great playing guitar. I just don’t play it enough to justify keeping it. Hopefully it can go to someone who will appreciate it and play it often.
