Properties of Hypochlorous Acid – HOCl
Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a naturally occurring, weak acid produced by the immune system to fight pathogens, and it also functions as a safe and effective disinfectant for wound care, skin health, and surface cleaning.
It's a powerful oxidant that kills bacteria, fungi, AND VIRUSES by disrupting their cellular structures, while its anti-inflammatory properties help calm redness and irritation associated with conditions like eczema and acne.
Stabilized formulations are now available for topical use and as a broad-spectrum disinfectant.
What it is and how it works:
Naturally produced:
White blood cells naturally produce HOCl to defend the body against infections, making it biologically familiar to human tissues.
Powerful disinfectant:
HOCl's potency as an oxidizing agent allows it to destroy the cell membranes of microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Anti-inflammatory:

I make solutions of 100ppm to 400ppm on request. There is nothing safer and stronger for your family and your animals than HOCl. I have been using it and making it for several years now and there’s no better fruit and egg wash that’s safe for you.
