Egyptian Walking Onions are an old-fashioned perennial onion that comes up on its own year after year. The base under the ground grows an onion bulb. The green top foliage is like a green onion, only with a little more bite, excellent in salads and cooking. The plants send up a flowering shoot which matures into the bulbets. Plant these and you will have green onion tops throughout the growing season and onions when you need them. Plants for $2, and small handfuls of bulbets for $2.
