KEETS - $6 each. Mixed colors. (Keets are not sexable) I will have more keets in a week or so! I only have 2 presently.
I have a small, mixed color flock of Guineas. Guineas are fantastic yard patrollers and bug eaters! You either love them or hate them...I love them. Guineas are quirky and interesting birds to have on the property. Keets can be raised with chicks but should be fed Gamebird Starter. They require more protein than chicks. Guineas do well with chickens...the chickens help to "ground" the guineas and encourage them to come back to their roost for the night. A nightlight is helpful, as guineas come back to roost later than chickens.
The eggs are delicious and have very hard shells! The birds live as mated pairs within the flock.
