It is with heavy heart I post my dear nutmeg.. Her senior companion passed away yesterday and now shes lonely so its what's best for her. Though I will miss her terribly. She is purebred alpine, she had papers but I never got them when I bought her.. Shes 3 years old, had 2 freshenings both times she had twins. I was getting around 3/4 gallon a day out of her, but she is currently dry. Her teats and udders arent *huge* but shes easy to hand milk out and stands beautifully for it. Shes a well trained girl. An absolute doll who just wants to be by your side. Shes my soul goat and it breaks my heart to rehome her but I just know I need to focus on other aspects of the farm and buying more goats isnt it right now.. and she deserves better than to be lonely just because I love her so. Only asking the $300 I paid for her. Possibly negotiable to the right home. I will be incredibly picky who she goes to, she is NOT first come first serve. Her new home must have other goats.
