This is a very solid sofa. The original springs internally have been removed and new slats installed. The black cushion is constructed from 1/2 inch plywood covered with foam and black cotton indoor/outdoor fabric. The added black, plywood reinforced cushion, under the original cushions, compensates for spring removal to provide soft, comfortable seating. The exposed sections of the wooden frame have been sanded and painted glossy black. The wood frame scroll design across the front and sides of the couch are the perfect touch to accent this one of a kind piece.
The couch is pictured in different display options, with and without decorative and orange cushions, to highlight the versatility of display/use. This piece has been lovingly refurbished and updated to enable many more years of beauty and usefulness.
