REDUCED PRICE IS FIRM !
I’ve gotten too old for the inconveniences of camping in rustic campgrounds so it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. It was undercoated when brand new and is in exceptional condition with absolutely no rust. About three years ago I took it to my mechanics and told them to fix anything and everything that it might need to assure we would have no problems driving it across the country to Seattle, Washington. The following items were serviced and/or replaced at around 75,000 miles:
• New stereo and speakers
• Converted the A/C system from Freon to R-34 and charged it
• Brakes all around
• Alternator
• Changed transmission fluid and filter
• Checked radiator/cooling system and changed antifreeze
• HVAC control unit
• Exhaust system
• Ball joints
• Nearly all front end (steering) parts
• Tires
• Shocks
• Tune-up
• Thermostat
• Somewhere in South Dakota the in-tank fuel pump quit working and a repair shop out west replaced it.
I have the oil changed every 3,500 - 4,500 miles with real oil. It was engineered for real oil, so I never use synthetic. Preparing to sell the van I took it to my mechanics last month to have them check it over for any needed maintenance.
The following items were just serviced and/or replaced at 109,000 miles:
• New battery
• Replaced the A/C and heater hoses running to the rear A/C unit, replaced a leaking A/C fitting and recharged the system
• Lube, oil and filter
• Replaced both valve cover gaskets
• Replaced transmission seal
• Replaced drive shaft U-joint
• Replaced serpentine belt
• New muffler and tail pipe
