Beautiful autographed letter dated February 2, 1966 and signed by Hall of Famer Joe Cronin, at that time the President of the American League. Letter written to Detroit Tigers long-time GM and VP Jim Campbell approving the contracts of numerous players, coaches and manager Chuck Dressen. Many of the names listed would be integral players on the World Championship 1968 Tigers Team, including William (Gates) Brown, William (Willie) Horton, Michael (Mickey) Lolich, Richard (Dick) McAuliffe, James (Jim) Northrup, Joseph (Joe) Sparma, Mitchell (Mickey) Stanley, Richard (Dick) Tracewski, and Donald (Don) Wert.
