It's been completely restored..All the wood was stripped, restained, and 'Varathaned'...
All the steel was sandblasted and powder-coated in a white semi-gloss finish.
The rubber on the wheels is original and still in great condition.
The back of the seat was redone in new wooden wicker fabric.
The only thing missing is the original 'potty' bucket that laid in the steel pan below the wooden seat.
Everything is fully functional...The brakes, the foot rests, and the seat back recliner.
I acquired it from the daughter of the retired doctor that restored in the 1960's.
I've checked online and similar-aged and type wheelchairs are advertised for sale between $1,100 and as high as $1,600!
