This is the third set from '83 that I am offering that I built myself from unopened vending cases. The first two sets with more autographed cards have sold. This set is complete, 792 total cards, and easily can be called NRMT/MINT. I'd say that 99% of the cards came directly from the cases that I bought from Topps back in '83. This set is every bit as pristine as the first two that I sold, but simply has less signed cards and is priced accordingly. Of course 1983 Topps set has three huge rookies of the years, Wade Boggs, Ryne Sandberg, and Tony Gwinn. Contained with this set is 54 total autographed cards, all on the front of the cards, mostly in blue or black sharpie, maybe a couple or so in ball point pen. Hall of Famer Whitey Herzog has signed his, as well as a very tough signed card of Joe Niekro who passed away unexpectedly in 2006. There could be other deceased signers as well, but I have not taken the time to go through each player. This set is housed in 9-pocket plastic pages and within a D-ring binder.
