Although 1988 model, that was when Johnson still made some of the best, most reliable outboards. 2 cycle. Very good compression numbers. VRO model - with internal oil pump/external oil tank. Comes with all controls. Runs very well. My 18' Lund moves about 29 mph at 4000 RPM. No problems. Regularly maintained. I'm refurbishing my Lund and replacing the engine (upgrade to 115 hp, 4 stroke) is final task. But this motor has many years of fishing to go, as long as it's taken care of.
